Upon Waking
Bae and I were both up around 5am. Trying something new, I sweetly asked her to go back to sleep. She blinked at me, and complied. We slept in until 7 or so. If only everything were this easy. I’d have 12 kids. 😉
Churchin’
Pastor Charlie offered some not-so-great news. Our church is slated to move in 12 weeks and abruptly the plans fell through. Our lease ends soon, so ramp up the anxiety and plan b, c and d. As stressful as this is for our congregation, my thoughts were more on our pastor and his family. If it’s upsetting for me, I have no idea what they are going through. He said it best, “Times like these we either believe all these songs we are singing or words we are preaching or we don’t.” I couldn’t agree more. Pray we find a home readers!
Lunchin’
We went to a birthday party which was amazing because A. no entertainment required and B. they fed the Bae. So I got to find other moms to talk to while the Bae rambled around, ate party food and got nice and tired for her nap.
Relaxin’
She slept for 3 hours. KILLING IT.
End of Days
Popcorn for dinner and an easy lift for my husband. I got hungry though and fell victim to eating off his plate while standing over the garbage disposal. Not my finest moment. Note to self, don’t let easy sabbath meal deprive you of, like, real food.
Hi/Low
The day started with a marital, but we acted grown and discussed it before it ruined the day. I know I need to get better about holding a grudge, so this is a low/high. Low because, well fights happen, but high because we made it work regardless. Not a bad trend to start, no?

Hope you get some good news soon about a new home for your church!!
