Upon Waking
Sleeping in happened, yo. I actually had to hustle to get to . . .
Churchin’
Pastor Charlie preached on the wilderness, one of my FAV topics because it’s so resonant with me.
“The wilderness is not always meant as punishment, but preparation. Maybe the God that led you there is trying to increase the capacity of your inner life so that you are prepared for what he is calling you into.” ⠀
I’ve been in and out of the wilderness MANY times, and found them to be the most spiritually trying, and yet educational and achieving experiences of my life. So yeah. I was happy to hear this message.

Lunchin’
About once a month I have a mom’s lunch where we get together, try to look at the menu, before we download on each other about husbands, babies, work, life, etc. I look forward to these so much. Just being heard and acknowledged by the mom’s around me offers the sweetest type of support. I can’t put my finger on why I love these meetups so much, but I just adore the time in fellowship. We talked about when to lean in/out of work (no one had the answer), and how to best fight in front (or not) of your kids. Basically, we have no answers but I like knowing we all worry/wonder about the same thing.
Relaxin’
No naps this week, but got to chill with le’ hubs, which is almost as good.
End of Days
Pizza Hut! We got one of those large, 2 topping $6.99 deals. Dad was happy, baby went with us to pick it up (and gnawed on a crust). All good things.
Hi/Low
Highs definitely was the lunch out. I got take out for my husband for lunch and dinner. Not cooking on the Sabbath = happy mom. Something I’m going to continue for the foreseeable future.
